Here is my most recent Letter box. I used a photograph that the customer sent me and it turned out great. To make it unique, I can customize the box for your child using colors and designs that you pick out. Currently, I am painting wine glasses and then I will have some time to post my new jewelry. I have some good jewelry news and some bad jewelry news. The good news is that I will be making some new designs in the coming weeks and I am very excited about the ideas I have. I hope they will be my best yet. I am feeling inspired due to the loss of a great amount of my jewelry (the bad news). I made the mistake of putting it in my checked baggage on a Labor Day trip to Las Vegas and unfortunately, someone stole my bag at the airport. I NEVER check my jewelry, but I had so much with me, it was heavy, there was room in my suitcase, etc. etc. so I just threw it in. NEVER do this as jewelry is conveniently one of the items you cannot claim if your bag is lost. Figures. Anyway, I will be making some new designs in the coming weeks now that my kids are back in school. Be sure to check back often as I am also going to be better about updating my site! My Latest Custom Made Piece...
I am so proud of this piece that I just had to post it. As most of you know, Kevin Davis, Blue Angel #6, recently perished in an airshow crash while performing as a member of the Blue Angels. A friend of mine grew up with his family and asked me to design a memorial bracelet for his mother. I am so pleased with how it turned out that I wanted to post it on my site even though it is not for sale. I used blue lampwork beads designed by 5 Fish Designs, also located in Virginia Beach, and accented it with both sterling silver and gold filled beads, blue freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and touches of Bali silver. It also serves as a gentle reminder to keep all those who serve our country and their families in our prayers.
